Who Took the Electric out of E3?

30 minutes till the opening of the first day of E3, and parts of the LA Convention Center are dark. Max is reporting that they have managed to get the South Hall back up, but the West Hall, where our live broadcasts from the IGN booth take place, is still out of luck. So far this morning's broadcast has been scrapped, but can be back up with half an hour's notice. That sure throws a wrench in the interview schedule! There must be a lot of scrambling going on - how do you demo video games with no power? I guess the portable consoles (GBA/PSP/DS) and mobile games (cell) might still work - look for the small screens glowing in the West Hall until they get the consoles and PCs fired up again! Ouch!
